There was a massive crowd in front our building last night while leaving work last night. I saw police barricades and heard girls screaming, but as I took a closer look I saw girls in bikinis waving men in, looks and sounds a lot like cross between a spring break party and the Playboy Mansion . The sand outside was at least 2ft deep, though, and there were actual women listlessly batting a beach ball around in actual bikinis and sarongs outside. and there was a long long line of men trying to get in. Well in my opinion the whole scene looked utterly
tasteless and pathetic even on Times Square.


So, New York is got its very own Hawaiian Tropic Zone Restaurant and Lounge. The corner of 49th Street and 7 ave transformed into a tropical beach. Seriously with sand, Queen Palm and Banana trees, and inside there is an inviting hot tub, surfboards and chaise lounge chairs, and a DJ spinning energizing tunes from atop a 16-foot lifeguard tower. Sounds stupid or is it? for non-New Yorkers, Times Square is a high testosterone area, currently Times Square hosts about 80% of the top law firms, and hosts many Headquarters for investment banks, acounting firms like Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Ernst and Young.

The business model that brings girls in with little clothing into a high testosterone area is not new just look at HOOters. I think for this place to do well, the food would have to be excellent, but with the area being very tourisy and the fact that Baywatch is the most watched american show, this just might work!
