Wed, Dec 21

-Had lunch at a very nice cafe, owned by a friend of 3rd aunt in Tien Mu.
-Met with Uncle at Shi Da
-Went to Gong Gwan with LL to see young people are doing this days. Gong Gwan is where High School students hang.
-I had dinner with my godmother and all my god-siblings.

Thurs,

-Woke up at 7:00 to take Wedding photos, It was really cold I felt bad for LL. Taiwan was colder then I thought. We took photos all day and did not finish taking photos until 10:00 PM



Friday

-Went shopping with LL seeking for the rice cooker for our new home. Then watch the movie Perhaps Love with LL at the department store Mitsukoshi, and took the bus back home.
-We totally forgot that it was Ida's bday, she was up all night waiting for us to cut her b-day cake. We felt pretty bad LL made tea and we got her gag gifts from 7-11

Sat

- Went to the driving range near Shing Dien, It has been a while since I have picked up a golf club, but I did well.
- I had Dim sum near Sogo the food was good, It was certainly much better then the crap we get in NY.
- Went to the hot springs at Yang Ming Mountains The hot springs offered great Taiwanese food so we had food and Taiwan beer afterwards. It was very relaxing I wish I can do this after a rough day at work, but that is just wishful thinking.

Sun
-Headed to Tainan and Stopped at Tai Chung to have lunch, It was interesting where you tell them how much you want to spend, and they will create the menu according
-Got to Tainan at 4pm, checked in at the Landis hotel and spend the rest of the day eating.
-We went to about 7 different locations to eat various desserts and snacks we got back at 10:00

Monday
-Still in Tainan, Woke up @ 5:00 to go play golf, the caddy, ladies were nice it was strange playing in Taiwan because I did not know all the Chinese terminologies for golf. I played poorly 125
-Went to Dou-Lio for a short visit at LL's dad's company.

Tues

-Had Coffee with LL's Dad, This was the longest and the deepest conversation I had with him, I think we learned a lot of each other.
-Went shopping at the Nike store, did buy much for myself just some golf stuff.
-Stayed over at 3rd aunts home

Wed

- Had breakfast with LL's grandpa he is 80 and looks more fit then most people
- Spend the rest of the time visiting my relatives with LL.


Thrus

- This was Shopping day, LL and I were determined to find a rice cooker and a hotpot. We went to Mitsukoshi and actually got both of them there.
- I Met up with peter's sister and went to the night market with her


Fri

- Went to pick the photos we took last week, It was difficult to find good pictures.
- I went to see grandma again, she was the one that took care of me when I was a kid. She also took care of David Shih.
- Then went to see Godmom, she is in better health, tho she lives in a giant 8 bdrm apt, she still looks very lonely after my Godfather past away last year.

Sat

-Went to get a Haircut, the inside the far eastern mall.
-Went to see this health center where LL's Uncle works, It was basically a 5 star fitness center where rich people go to get their medical checkups. outside from the 5 star ammenities, the most impressive thing was the swimming pool. Its made with pure water, no clorine you can drink the water in the swimming pool. I would like to check in one day.
-We had Dinner with Johnny and Ida at this all you can eat place. The food was excellent, but I somehow was ticked to eat frog meat. I think I still have some mental laps about that experience.
-New yrs countdown at Shing Dien, Knowing that it was not wise to see fireworks near 101 we went to Shing Dien to see the fireworks. It was cool to see the lights, and the countdown was pretty cool. But all you see was smoke after 30 seconds, never the less it looked really cool

Sunday 1/1

-Had my last real meal at Ding TaiFong, Never disappointing It was a great meal
-I also had coffee at this place called Old Tree, the coffee was good.
-Done some final packing and went to the airport
-My flight left ~6:00pm

-At Seattle, It was still Sunday afternoon ~2:00pm, Yes I have traveled back in time.
-I saw the space needle from the sky, and It looked short and stubby.
-The amazing snowcap-ed mountain view was amazing.

-arrived at NY ~11 PM and got my car from the car rental and got back home before midnight.
