I called my Dad in Taiwan to let him know its Father's Day, He is still recovering for sugery so he probably don'y know its father's day in Taiwan.Unlike other members in my family (My sisters) they like to celebrate the American Father's day, but I like the meaning of 爸爸 節 more.
For those who have no clue what I am talking about :
Father's Day 父親節‧August 8
This day was designated Father's Day in 1945. The Chinese characters for "eight" 八 (eighth day of the eighth month of the solar year) and "father" 爸 are both pronounced ba.
Anyway His second sugery is going to be on 8/9 Lets wish him well
